Welcome! The International Convocation of Unitarian Universalist Women (ICUUW) is a nonprofit organization in special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), focusing on global women’s rights and empowerment. About Us

Over 40 members  and friends from Bolivia, Canada, France, Greece, Hungary, India, Kenya, Romania and USA joined us for our annual members meeting.

Dear ICUUW Members and Friends,

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year's Annual Member Meeting. It was wonderful to come together to reflect on our accomplishments, celebrate our community, and look ahead to the opportunities before us.

If you were not able to join us, please enjoy the recording of the meeting.

Hearing updates about the work ICUUW does in its committees and projects filled us with a deep sense of pride and optimism. At a time when our world is experiencing so much conflict, division, and uncertainty, ICUUW offers a welcoming community where we can come together, support one another, and take meaningful action to address some of the world's most pressing challenges. Our shared commitment to creating a safer, more just, and more equitable world, especially for women and children is what makes ICUUW truly unique.

For their leadership, service, and countless contributions to ICUUW, we extended our gratitude to outgoing Board members Gizi, Renee and Phyllis, as well as previous Chair of the Nominating Committee Vicki. Your dedication has strengthened our organization and built a solid foundation for the future.

We elected and welcomed incoming Board members Allison, Bruce and Siro and look forward to the perspectives, energy, and leadership they will bring. We also confirmed Sylvie for her second term on the Board.

Gizi was elected to the Nominating Committee after having completed six years on the Board.

Immediately after the Annual Member Meeting, the new Board held its first meeting and elected the officers for 2026-2027. Zsuzsa agreed to continue serving as Secretary for another year, Geri will be our Treasurer for one more year (her last!), Elgiva will again serve as Vice President, and Tina was elected to continue in her role as President.

Couldn’t join us on the 24th of June but want to support our work? Then please donate now.

Share with us how important our work for women and girls worldwide is to you.

You can send us money by credit card or PayPal, or you can send us a check.

Thank you for your continued support, partnership, and belief in ICUUW's mission. We are honored to be on this journey with you.

With best greetings,

Tina Huesing, President
Pooja Banerjee, Executive Director
