Love Unites, Stories Ignite
If you are attending the UUA General Assembly in June, do not forget to watch our on-demand video! The program titled "Uniting Women Worldwide Through Their Inspiring Stories" features 4th Convocation scholarship recipients from Canada and India as well as several Board members. They will share their inspiring stories about igniting change in their communities and connecting with other U/Us worldwide. Watch a preview video. We feature stories from Unitarian*Universalist women who live their faith and their desire for a more just world in different parts of the world. These women are connected to sisters in faith beyond their immediate community. They learn from each other and with each other, and their stories inspire others to local action.

Nominating Committee Report
We nominate Tina Huesing, PhD, and Dr. Rica Lamar for three-year terms on the ICUUW Board of Directors. We feel that both candidates will be valuable contributing members of the board.
We regret that we have not been able to find a board member ready to serve as Treasurer, and recommend that the position be left unfilled for the time being until a suitable candidate comes forward. In the meantime, Geri Kennedy will continue, possibly with the help of one or more volunteers, to do the work of the Treasurer.

Our esteemed executive director, Zsófia Sztranyiczki, has notified the Board of Directors that she will be stepping down from her position at the end of 2024. She has done a fabulous job serving as our Executive Director for the past 11 years and will be very difficult to replace. She promises to remain involved with ICUUWomen as a volunteer. We wish her well in the future with more time to focus on her personal life and projects, including her tour company.

Women Building and Nurturing Resilience in Székelyudvarhely
The International Convocation of Unitarian Universalist Women, in partnership with the National Organization of Unitarian Women of Romania (UNOSZ), received a grant from the UU Funding Program for a program aimed at raising awareness and educating women about resilience. The second session of the three-session mental health training was hosted by the women's association members of the First Church of Székelyudvarhely on 9-10 February 2024. During the two-day training, coping skills and resilience were built through lectures and small group sessions.
